THOUGHTS FOR THE NEW YEAR

The State of Colorado now requires retail stores to charge $0.10 per plastic or paper bags. Purportedly in the interest of climate sustainability. I remember when stores asked paper or plastic. The thought being that paper bags were environmentally friendly, evidently not now the case.
Interestlngly the reusable grocery bags have significant dangers. . news.arizona.edu/story/reusable-grocery-...-coli-other-bacteria .
To me this is another scam by government to get additional funds. Similar to the "sin tax" on cigarettes. Cigarettes provide too much tax money to outlaw the sale.

I hope that everyone had a Happy New Year's Day. 2023 is not going to be a happy year economically, so enjoy the holiday.

Happy New Year to you and your family ramage. I experienced this new waste of time yesterday at a Walmart in Ft Collins… no bags unless you buy a reusable on that won’t last long and will end up in the same landfill.

Maybe one day we’ll have to bring in our. Own containers to collect out weekly allotment of bug soup.

Politicians are always trying to justify their existence but forcing new and improved regulations that mostly do nothing or make our lives worse.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Puerto Vallarta has this and people there use two wheeled rolling carts in the store like our grandparents used to do.

Other countries in Europe have been doing this for eons ...Sticks of banquettes and carrots POKING out of cloth bags...Why can't America adapt? I find it REFRESHING...when u go to a farmers Market, u usually bring your own basket,,string bag or a cool cloth carrier. FYI NATURAL GROCERIES BAGS R STURDY AND
STRONG....AND THEY R COLORFUL AND COOL.

Solution: go to the grocery store. Buy a box of plastic bags and put your groceries in them.
