SEYMOUR HERSH - REMEMBER HIM?

Seymour Hersh, the investigative reporter who broke the My Lai massacre story back in the Vietnam era and the Abu Ghraib torture story in the Iraqi war era is back with another bombshell.
It has been reported and ignored in the MSM that the U.S. is responsible for the destruction of the Nord Stream pipelines. It will be difficult for them to ignore Hersh, wait and see if it is followed up.

It is lengthy but well worth the read. An excerpt:

Last June, the Navy divers, operating under the cover of a widely publicized mid-summer NATO exercise known as BALTOPS 22, planted the remotely triggered explosives that, three months later, destroyed three of the four Nord Stream pipelines, according to a source with direct knowledge of the operational planning.

Two of the pipelines, which were known collectively as Nord Stream 1, had been providing Germany and much of Western Europe with cheap Russian natural gas for more than a decade. A second pair of pipelines, called Nord Stream 2, had been built but were not yet operational. Now, with Russian troops massing on the Ukrainian border and the bloodiest war in Europe since 1945 looming, President Joseph Biden saw the pipelines as a vehicle for Vladimir Putin to weaponize natural gas for his political and territorial ambitions.

This lacks one critical element. A linkage to Trump. Anything. Even an unnamed source that alleges that Trump blew up a pipeline before Biden blew up a pipeline would do it.

My leftist friend wanted to blame the Russians but that was silly. If the Russians wanted to stop delivery, they just turn it off at their end.

Don’t you all remember Biden telling a reporter on camera that the US would stop the pipeline if Putin invaded? I know I heard that, I just can’t find it.

Here it is. Funny how our media pretty much ignored what he said here, especially after the pipeline was intentionally blown up.

I want to read more before deciding to trust Hersh on this pipeline sabotage. I still like my theory that it was eco-warriors.

I do not understand why eco-warriors would, if they could, destroy the pipeline. With that supply cut off, Germany and the other EU countries have reverted to burning coal and cutting down forests to supply fuel. Short of nuclear destruction the pipeline will be repaired once the war is over and from the perspective of the eco-warriors, it will be back to business as usual albeit a significant increase in the noxious problems associated with coal burning for a couple of years.

Another reminder that Trump was 100% correct when the Germans laughed at him as he warned of being reliant on Putin. No longer laughing.

One of Germany's political parties is also demanding an investigation. This is not going to go away quietly.

Eco-Warriors aren't known for being logical, example, spraying oil on priceless artworks.
