Biden's Student Loan Forgiveness v. Supremes

28 Feb 2023 14:13 #1 by FredHayek
The Supreme Court is hearing arguments today to decide if the Executive Branch has the power to transfer student loan debts from the people who received the degrees and will earn millions more over a lifetime to Blue Collar Americans who weren't able to get into college.

Should we really bail out the smartest adults? And if so, shouldn't Congress make that call instead of a President who doesn't normally have that power?

First of all Fred, being college educated doesn’t make you smarter or more intelligent, it just makes you more knowledgeable about whatever you’ve chosen to study. I wish people would stop saying that because it’s ridiculous.

This will go down in flames because it’s unconstitutional. This is the only way Dems can attract new voters. That can’t do it by promoting good policies that actually help society.., nope, they can only buy votes with the taxpayer’s money.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I had a college English professor tell the class that a college degree meant only that you could sit in place for a few years. Plenty of people like Bill Gates and Richard Branson dropped out and did fine.
Myself? I loved college, best five years of my life!
