So if teens can consent to radical hormone therapy and surgery so they can change their sexes, can they also consent to sex with adults?

A court just threw out the federal law that says you can only buy a handgun at 21. So now 18 year olds can purchase a pistol.

This ruling was issued by a Federal judge in Virginia. It is under appeal. I expect that it will find its way to the Supreme Court.
The whole concept of an age limit will come under scrutiny, if one can have mutilating, irreversible surgery for a perceived psychologic disorder at virtually any age, why not the purchase of a firearm?

Is it better to let kids buy 3.2 beer at 18 than an AR-15? Or having radical hormone treatments at 13?
