Yes, it should include AR-15's. One court in the 20th Century banned sawed off shotguns because they weren't considered practical weapons for warfare.

The whole reason we have the Second Amendment is because the founders WANTED an armed population to be able to take on a tyrannical government. No, we don't have nukes and F15's but we the people have the government outnumbered, by a lot when it comes to guns. Our biggest advantage is that the people most likely to be tyrants don't know how to fight a war anyway, as we've seen in real time. It also makes a foreign ground invasion less likely... we don't want to be in the same situation the Ukrainians and Israelis found themselves in either.

This government ruling over us doesn't care about the people using "assault weapons" against fellow citizens because they don't care about the welfare of citizens. If they did care, they would focus on what's killing our citizens, like the Fentynal pouring over our border of the violent street animals that are multiplying like rats. No, the government wants us unarmed because the goal is to fully control us... the people who run this country want us to bow to their every demand. Hard pass for me.

It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies and nosers−out of unorthodoxy

China has a one million man army. How do you think they feel about invading a nation with both an army and 20 million civilians armed with weapons of war?
