A bipartisan group of politicians got the bill through the House and Senate. Only fiscally conservative Republicans voted against it. It cut 70 billion in spending. Too bad we are still spending a trillion more dollars than we are taking in.
President Biden will sign the bill soon. He doesn't care about kicking debt down the road.

I appreciate any cut however small. However, what programs were cut? the devil is in the details. If we still give billions to Ukraine it can only be at the expense of U.S. taxpayers.
