A public hearing has been scheduled for SB068 in the Health and Human Services Committee on Feb. 29.
The Colorado legislature introduces SB068, an amendment to the Colorado’s End of Life Options Act. The bill is referred to to the Senate Health & Human Services Committee.
This amendment would:
Add APRN’s as prescribers
Remove the residency requirement
Reduce the waiting period from 15 days to 48 hours, and allowing providers to waive the mandatory waiting period if the patient is unlikely to survive
