Instagram's default will limit political posts that show up on your feed. You can change the setting but I can see many people preferring to see less politics in this current election.

And they are a private platform, they can modify the algorithms any time they want to.

If Meta were a private corporation subject the libel and slander laws of the U.S. I would agree.
