Very true. There are no fiscal conservatives running in this election. Even the Libertarian candidate isn't known for his fiscal restraint.

But if you are paying $100 per kilowatt hour for high maintenance heavy windmills versus $35 per hour for clean burning Natural gas, the poor can afford the gas more than they can afford the bougie wind turbines.

Rich people despite having huge homes spend a very small percent of their incomes on utilities. The poor? They can spend 30% per month! So every time Governor Polis demands Xcel replace inexpensive natural gas power plants with expensive wind turbines, he is screwing over those on fixed incomes.
Every time the Democrats mandate that only expensive EV's that get charged with expensive wind power are allowed to be sold after 2030, they make life tougher on those living in tiny apartments. Where are they going to find a 220V plug?
