... that the topics the people on the left are most passionate about, are the topics in which there are no conclusive or settled answers? They don't want to talk about specific policies because those policies can usually be measured by outcomes, unless the outcomes take years to play out. The last thing they want is to be proven wrong on anything, therefore they stay clear of those topics that can be brought up later
Nope, it's always abortion as the #1 passionate issue. Is the woman's choice more important than the human life... there is no definite answer because it comes down to opinions of morality. Climate change is another good one because that can't be proven either, other than, "scientists say". LOL, yeah, we've been suckered too many times by their collective expertise. Wake me up when the skeptic scientists get the same amount of government grant money as the supposed majority of scientists in that field.
The vast majority of the middle class and poor have been suffering from inflation... most can no longer buy a house and are working several jobs because living costs an extra $1000 a month. How much do you think the suffering people of this country care about abortion and climate change, compared to how much they care about feeding their families?
Here's a challenge for you liberals...
Start a thread about a great Democrat policy that is worth what we are paying and is helping the majority of Americans. If you can't think of a single one, then tell us a policy you would enact if you had the power.
If someone actually accepts the challenge, I'll post one or more that I think are good policies that help Americans... obviously not Democrat policies.

and therein the lies the big elephant in the room.......WHY DOES THIS HAVE TO BE PARTISAN? why can't it be a UNIVERSAL,INTENTIONAL discussion of how we, as mankind, can UNDO the damage reaped upon
the whole of mankind and of this orb we inhabit? We r destroying ourselves....DEATH BY A THOUSAND LITTLE PECKS.. jmo
I will choose a non-partisan solution that worked very well. Banning leaded gas and paint.
Lead is a very useful element and does awesome things. But it is also poisonous and affects both the human brain and the central nervous system. It was super expensive to develop lead free alternatives gasoline and other applications.
There is some evidence that banning lead has increased the IQ of Americans and also lowered the crime rate. People want to believe that crime is very high now, but it remains much lower than in the 60's and early 70's.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.

YOU and your faux-religionists do NOT get to decide that YOUR "morality" is everybody else's "morality." Not now; not EVER. If you don't like abortion, don't have one. You know the rest. If it's your opinion, great. But you don't get to decide by color of law that the rest of the country has to live by your opinion.
And that is what is going to be the end of your crap in this election... Abortion is what is going to be the end of the ReThuglicans. Now tell me again how there are these "massively outnumbering" groups that will swing the balance? Where is this state where the groups have voted to enshrine "forced birth" into a state's constitution? I'm still waiting. You STILL don't get it. YOU don't get to FORCE your "Me-Tarzan-You-Jane" morality on the women of America, (who happen to be in the majority.).
I've noticed you still can't answer the challenge you proposed, and you still can't force your particular opinion down the throats of those who are not obligated to be dictated to.

I think you have a problem with comprehension. POLICIES are EVERYTHING in politics. The policy proposals on the left are completely different than those wanted on the right.
I’m simply asking you to post the DEMOCRAT policies that you think have helped Americans in the last 3 1/2 years. Why is that so difficult for you to comprehend?
I think you do indeed understand what I’m asking for, but you have no answer, so you have to divert to you common vague proclamations that have zero details.
What will Harris do as president that will make our lives better? Will she leave the border open? Will she continue to be hostile toward oil and gas production? She isn’t talking, so how would we know?
