Josh Shapiro would have been a much better choice, but he would have also overshadowed Harris because he can actually deliver sentences that are not just word salads. This is one of the reasons why I believe Biden picked her (besides checking the race and gender boxes)... Biden needed someone who wouldn't upstage him in any way.

What I can't figure out is why Vance lied so frequently in the debate. Oh, and outside the debate, as well. They're eating the pets? Really?
Why did Trump pick such a liar - oooh, I just figured it out. Vance lies just as much as Trump, so Donald felt comfortable around a fellow liar. Makes perfect sense.
