FEMA can never win in disaster recovery efforts. If they have everything in place, much of the aid will get destroyed. And there will always be lag time on bringing in employees and supplies.
Plus you never know where the most damage will occur. The last hurricane didn't hurt the coast that bad, but hung up in the interior so it was more rains and flooding than storm surges and high winds. And at relatively high altitudes for hurricane damage.
So the Biden/Hamas apologists can declare money and relief are on their way and the residents can always say not soon enough.
