Chinese docks are automated. The US needs to bust this union to stay competitive in the new world order.

In general, I agree...can't stop progress,HOWEVER,the company signed a deal and that was negated....HOW do u trust that a written agreement will be upheld? UNIONS have there place in this fubar,,they keep companies from over stepping/abusing employees.....BEEN THERE,SEEN IT, FOUGHT IT.

Read Jack Smith’s unsealed court filing that says Trump ‘resorted to crimes’ after 2020 election
Politics Updated on Oct 2, 2024 4:28 PM EDT — Published on Oct 2, 2024 4:01 PM EDT

Donald Trump “resorted to crimes” after losing the 2020 election, federal prosecutors said in a court filing unsealed Wednesday that argues that the former president disregarded the advice of his vice president and other aides and is not entitled to immunity from prosecution over his failed bid to remain in power.

When you have a system that does not reward efficiency, this is what we get. Unions don't want automation, but it is inevitable when the rest of the world is using it. We also don't need 20 million new lettuce pickers.

“We can’t afford four more years of this”

Here's the nicest October surprise I can think of... Tina Peters, that happy-go-lucky sycophant of TrumpleThinSkin and the Pillow Guy, gets 9 years!! (She's 70, and the judge made sure the sentences run consecutively instead of concurrently, so she's looking at 79 by the time she gets out.) And poor baby is complaining that the prison system probably won't have the "magnetic mattress" that she needs for her back... Boo-friggin'-hoo.... The judge's lecture to her is worth the price of admission...

trump, meanwhile, was hit on Wednesday by the unsealing of a 165-page document in which special counsel Jack Smith gives the fullest picture of his case in the federal 2020 election interference case. The ex-president has pleaded not guilty, but the filing re-injected his attempt to steal the last election into the frantic endgame of a campaign partially shaped by Democrats’ claims he poses an existential threat to American democracy.

Each situation highlights potential vulnerabilities for both candidates as voters make up their minds. The trio of tests facing Harris comes with potential economic, political and humanitarian consequences if the administration errs. And the new scrutiny of Trump’s behavior after the 2020 election could cause some voters to again question his fitness for the Oval Office.

Seems like an accurate accounting of the present P.O.S. A NAIL BITER IN NOV.:witchcauldr
