Polls are the sugar high and empty calories of politics. And they make for lazy—or, at least, easy—journalism. I’d rather see reporters dig into other stuff. The ties between right-wing extremism and the GOP, the dirty deeds being perpetuated by billionaire-funded super-PACs, the role of dark money and disinformation in this campaign, the how-this-affects-you implications of the candidates’ positions. I bet that if you asked voters and news consumers, a majority would agree. Let’s poll that.

IF u r taking the polls as "gospel".....U r NOT an independent thinker....u r a stats junkie....of course, JMO. Stats can be manipulated by HOW THE QUESTION IS PHRASED.....U FRAME THE QUESTION FOR THE RESPONSE U R LOOKING FOR. (end of story).......think beyond the framing of the question and see how different the answer could be. (elementary my dear Watson)

No one hires inaccurate pollsters. At least not intelligent candidates.

Those unfavorables for Harris must be deeply disturbing for Democrats. Their "Joy" message America refuses to buy.

She is unqualified and only got her jobs because of who she slept with. Every time America took a look at her, they wouldn't cast a primary vote for her. She couldn't even win presidential primary voting in California. IIRC, she placed 4th and then dropped out before the Iowa caucus.

Why are Democrats losing young male voters?

Think it is sexism? They were willing to support President Obama but not Harris?

Nope, she dropped out before the first primary was even held. In CA she was polling at under 1% when she bowed out of the race.

Hemorrhaging male voters would be a bit more accurate than losing them, mostly in the BIPOC community interestingly enough.

Only 63% of African-American women? Wow! Guess abortion isn't as popular as some here believe. Or maybe they think that Trump won't ban abortion if he becomes president again.

Have to think Barack Obama scored much higher with African-American women.

JMO...because he embodies EVERY THING IN LIFE THEY DON'T HAVE.....money,babes (as he says he is so "hot") expensive cars,jets,and can bullshit his way thru all things....power and I don't give a shit r enticing to young males, who STILL live at home and can't afford the luxuries that their PARENTS PROVIDE FOR THEM.....would be some of the reasons.

WOMEN see thru the bullshit and think he is crude,arrogant,entitled and egocentric.....just the kind of man i would love to have in MY life.......NOT
