Silly me, I thought the goal of a psychiatrist was to treat mental health conditions, not validate them . . .

With the holiday season approaching, a prominent mental health expert told MSNBC viewers that they should feel justified in cutting ties with relatives that voted for President-elect Donald Trump.

"So, if you are going into a situation where you have family members, where you have close friends who you know have voted in ways that are against you… it’s completely fine to not be around those people and to tell them why," Calhoun told Reid.

When collectivists say they want to "unify" the populace, they're talking about only those who believe as they do, all others are to be excluded.

It's not a joke anymore to say that these people have a mental disease or condition, it's the truth. Telling people it's ok to disown family because of political differences is not only sick, it's evil. They have no interest in uniting, they only have interest in indoctrination and power.

Cults do the same thing. Force people to isolate from family members who don't believe.

Have you ever chosen a candidate solely on the basis of them visiting you? Or stopping by a business you frequent?

For me? Never.

Some folks never outgrow the thought that every election is like the first ones they participated in school when they elected class presidents . . . popularity contests, not policy contests.
