Those years are why Republicans have a trifecta starting on January 20, 2025 . . . hard to believe Democrats when they say Republicans are the fascists after all of the mask mandates, vaccine mandates, shuttering of businesses, devastation of the economy, and all of the rest of the control over individual lives that happened under leadership of the Democrat party. It was, perhaps, the greatest illumination possible about which party believed in government controlling individual lives and which party believed individuals should control the government.
Think of how the government, federal, State, and local, violated one of the most basic of our freedoms when they prohibited the free exercise of religion by shuttering the churches. If there was ever a clearer example of who respects the federal Constitution, and who does not, I'm unaware of it.
Don't forget the great education awakening, where we found out what children were being taught by indoctrinated leftists. We also found out what the left wanted to do with parents who wanted to fight back against the madness... a new category of 'terrorists'.
