And do you think Trump Voters were a silent majority this election?
I saw very few Trump bumper stickers and yard signs. I did see a bunch of Trump flags, but more so after the election results were in.
This probably depends on where you live, Deep Red counties probably did show more open support for 47.

Tolerance.....well.... our close next door neighbors, the Taylors , r "cat people", we trade fur baby sitting AND because of our ages (my DH and me) ,we have a standing agreement that if anything happens to the both of us...THEY WILL TAKE OUR FOUR CATS. (5 YR. and 3 6mo old)....we have a stipend of $1,000 in our will
and our vet clinic has them as clients,so they know to contact the Taylors.....(we have instructed the 1srt responders)....THEY R TRUMPERS. and R's. we r "good neighbors that help each other out, when needed.)
THIS COUNTY/CITY and the western slope r TRUMP...all the way. Many, many Trump flags flown and on display. My SIL AND BROTHER R TRUMP SUPPORTERS.....we r seeing each other here on Dec. 7th.....
FAMILY is family....TOLERANCE.....hard,but a habit that desperately needs examining.
My family was non political ,we never discuss politics, or rarely anything else....dysfunctional and sad.

This is a weird topic for me to see today because of the conversation I was part at our bar last night, around midnight. My wife and I have become friends with two lesbians who know about half the people on this mountain. One of them, Syd, likes to wear t-shirts that basically advertise who she is and what she believes. Last night she had a rainbow shirt that said something about respecting trans kids. That started a conversation between a conservative regular that believes as I do about most political topics.
I stayed out of it (because bartenders shouldn't talk religion or politics), but Syd decided to ask what I thought about children making a 'choice' to change their gender. I said I didn't believe children could ever be wise enough to know the long term consequences that would be difficult, if not impossible, to reverse. She didn't counter with anything logical, but also didn't get mad that we disagree on the subject. the night ended with me pouring us 3 shots of Fireball then hugging it out as they both left.
The moral of this story is that our division is mainly the fault of the media and politicians who seek to divide us for money and power. We don't have to agree on everything to be good friends and neighbors. I've always tried to accumulate friends and this business is probably one of the best ways to do that.
Yes, when one party and their media allies spend months telling you that if the GOP wins, the Republic will end, of course you are going to create intolerance for Republicans. Most voters hopefully see through that.
Just like Project 2025. They may have grand dreams about what they want to do, but you have limited political capital and power so most of 2025 won't happen. They will have to prioritize and triage on what is actually possible.
