The whole idea of making a wager is to risk something in order to get a reward. In our situation, neither one of us was risking money... we risked having to post something that we don't believe, but must do in order to satisfy the bet.

You are the one who made the bet, yet you are the one who refuses to honor the bet. If that is who you are, it's not something to be proud of.

The closest this country has come to fascism was the Covid-19 shutdowns. Unlike Democrat governors and mayor's, Trump sought to give individual states more power and limit the control of the federal government.

You must have noticed at some point in the last eight years that her ability to obfuscate is second to none. I don't know why you continue to beat this dead horse. The reason? I believe that HA is a good person, a person who, while possibly buying into the nonsense of Trump being an existential threat to our republic, is better than the failure to honor the bet would indicate. I want to be right about the content of HA’s character . . . and I want HA to know that I believe in their character too. HA’s not one of the sheeple, rather an independent thinker, one who forges their own path when not being led astray by the propaganda from the communication wing of the party of Democrats. And I truly, in my heart of hearts, believe that at the end of Trump’s second term, HA will be embarrassed that they ever bought into the nonsense that Trump was seeking to become dear leader for life.
