Incumbents have too many advantages in Congress. Time for term limits.

We tried that in Colorado . . . the Congress critters sued in federal court and won because the States are not allowed to limit the qualifications for Congress beyond what the federal charter sets out. It'll have to be an Article 5 convention or Congress themselves that refers the matter to the States to amend the Constitution to make that happen.

Of course, we might get some "Blue State" support for that effort right now given Pelosi's actions to limit younger members of the Democrats from being a ranking member of powerful committees . . .

Read an article this weekend predicting the nation will never pass another amendment because we are too divided. But I think a term limit would pass, provided we grandfathered current legislators.

This weekend there was a story that a female congresswoman (R) was in dementia care and her office was hiding her Condition because they didn't want to lose their well paid positions. Did the same thing happen with Joe Biden?

Word is the senior care center provides dementia services, but the Congresswoman isn't receiving that care . . . whether you believe that or not is a personal decision. ;)

My father's senior living setup also included dementia care and they monitored the residents closely because they got to charge more if they could find a reason to move you there. Scared the seniors badly. Because once people went there, they never returned.
