On one hand, I know the smartest Democrats (Obama and those in his orbit), really aren’t that smart and couldn’t come up with a new and believable sword to run through T rump’s back. However, the bad news is they’re probably focusing on AI to take him out.

They do seem to be wanting to pull us into a war or two… maybe that’s the whole strategy… they will take Trump out at any cost. The last thing a communist wants is to be defeated and look weak in front of the masses they can’t wait to control.

Whatever the new lie is, I do wonder how much the media will fall in line this time. I mean, they’ve been wrong on so many stories for so long now, and the people are waking up to it. Do you take the gamble and protect the left’s narrative while once again risking the broadcasting of another lie?

Nope . . . next one's going to be attempting to use Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to prevent the votes from the electors for Trump from being counted under the ruse that he has engaged in insurrection.

The Electoral Count Act was first enacted in 1887 and later amended and restated in 2022. That statute provides a detailed mechanism for resolving disputes as to the validity of Electoral College votes.

To make an objection under the Count Act requires a petition signed by 20 percent of the members of each House. If the objection is sustained by majority vote in each house, the vote is not counted and the number of votes required to be elected is reduced by the number of disqualified votes. If all votes for Trump were not counted, Kamala Harris would be elected president.

Could someone remind me how many people were charged with insurrection? Was Trump charged with insurrection?

Maybe the strategy is to just piss off the majority of Americans so much that some get violent and then the worthless media and their Democrat masters can manufacture another type of “insurrection”.

He was, actually. That one one of the articles in his second (failed) impeachment courtesy of Nancy Pelosi and the Party of Democrats. Colorado's Supreme Court also proclaimed him to be guilty of insurrection when they tried to keep Trump off the ballot in the Colorado Primary before SCOTUS put the kibosh on the ability of a State to interfere with federal elections in such manner.

I'm sure the Democrats can scare up enough votes to qualify for the 20% of each chamber necessary to invoke the Electoral Count Act and force a vote even if they don't have the majority in both chambers necessary to actually invoke the law and alter the counting of the electoral votes.

I suppose its possible that more rational minds will prevail amongst the Democrats in Congress and nothing will come from the opinion published in The Hill, but it looks to be right up AOC's alley and the young Turks in the party might just be itching for a chance to be relevant even if it comes at the expense of the party that seems intent on keeping them sidelined.
