MUSK VS. MAGA.....Trump flips,OF COURSE, WHO KNEW?

apnews.WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) — President-elect Donald Trump appears to be siding with Elon Musk and his other backers in the tech industry as a dispute over immigration visas has divided his supporters.

Trump, in an interview with the New York Post on Saturday, praised the use of visas to bring skilled foreign workers to the U.S. The topic has become a flashpoint within his conservative base.

“I’ve always liked the visas, I have always been in favor of the visas. That’s why we have them,” Trump said.

In fact, Trump has in the past criticized the H-1B visas, calling them “very bad” and “unfair” for U.S. workers

Oh, I can see it clearly now.....the MAGA mob is stunned at some of the appointments AND ACTIONS that r 180 out from what they were lead to believe. was the agenda....let us reflect on the promises (no,that would be declarations) that were laid out in spades and spoke over and over again....(NOW, u (collectively)
can compare that to the "sisterhood:" who did NOT see the ramifications of their vote.)......buyers remorse?
Let us sit back and watch the wrath that will surely manifest.......as the mob boss elects to side with his.billionaire buds and go MIA ON MAGA minions.......

LOL. 50% of Americans voted for President Trump. They are not a monolith in what they want. Some want tariffs, some don't. Some want no immigration at all. Some welcome new legal immigrants. Many "MAGA" types love to see new legal immigrant swearing in ceremonies.

Buyer's Remorse when the alternative was Harris? You've decided to undertake a new career in standup comedy for 2025 HA?

Tell me, do you believe Democrats were universally behind Biden's pardon of his son and the commutation of the death penalty for 27 individuals who showed no mercy to their victims? Why then would you hold the thought that MAGA is a monolithic entity? Because it makes it easier for you to hold onto your discriminatory pattern of thought and stereotype anyone who voted for Trump?

NO WOULD BE THE ANSWER........I find it incomprehensible that the sisterhood would not stand up for their rights and NOW the number of deaths from complicated pregnancies AND THE NUMBER OF ABANDONED
BABIES IN TRASH CANS AND BOXS R MOUNTING (RAMIFICATIONS OF A VOTE).....it will be the same for the MAGA gang...what they THOUGHT would be a agenda they could count on,is now turning out to be not true.....and NO I do not condone the pardon and NO the death sentences I wold have to review one by one to determine if the action was valid.

What I am saying is this.....be VERY cautious with your vote, for all is not what it seems....TOO LATE NOW.

And that is the most damaging legacy of the Roe decision by the Burger court which sought to legislate from the bench to address a dispute that properly resides with the legislatures of the several States in the absence of federal legislation . . . that there is a right associated with elective homicides.

There are very limited instances of when an individual is justified in an act of homicide on another individual, and all of them involve defense of one's own right to life. Not one's right to a lifestyle, which doesn't exist either, or as a post-conception form of birth control, but in defense of their own right to life, which is one of the principle rights enumerated in our founding document.

Interesting to note that the latest national news story about a infants being abandoned occurred in the State of New York . . . which has legislation consistent with the Roe decision, no restrictions on elective homicide up to 24 weeks and thereafter when the life of the woman or the viability of the pregnancy is at risk and in New Mexico, which, like Colorado, has no restrictions regarding elective homicide.

It's even a thing in London, which is consistent with the Roe decision too . . .

So let's not pretend that States taking an interest in the lives of all of the individuals under their protection is the primary reason parents abandon their newborns HA. That's simply more mis/disinformatin being fed to you by the same sources that said Harris would win the election against Trump.

The CDC Hasn't Asked States to Track Deaths Linked to Abortion Bans
— Experts say it's a missed opportunity to study the laws' impacts

www.medpagetoday.com/obgyn/abortion/113486

In states with abortion bans, ProPublica has found, pregnant women have bled to death, succumbed to fatal infections, and wound up in morgues with what medical examiners recorded were "products of conception" still in their bodies.

These are the very kinds of cases state maternal mortality review committees are supposed to delve into, determining why they happened and how to stop them from happening again.

But panels in states that have recently imposed strict bans on abortion have done little to uncover whether the laws are contributing to maternal deaths, including tracking delays in care for pregnancy complications and making these problems known, a ProPublica investigation shows.

U WANT TO GO DOWN THAT PATH??? these r links from official medical sites that medical professionals utilize and blog on.....DO NOT LECTURE ME.....i DO NOT PERUSE MSM FOR MY MEDICAL INFO.

The "sisterhood" was not cognizant of just how UNPROTECTED this vote made them....they assumed their health AND THE BABY'S HEALTH would be protected and the "system" would put their health and the baby;s well being first....what a cruel and corrupt law.

And the goalposts shift from abandoned babies to women who are dying as a result of the Biden administration expanding access to medication which allows a doctor in NY to prescribe medical elective homicide drugs to a woman in Texas via a tele-health call just like that . . .

There really isn't a medical reason why parents are abandoning their children, is there HA. Mental reasons, but not medical ones; so let's not pretend that my bringing to your attention the fact that babies are abandoned by their parents everywhere irrespective of the elective homicide laws in that area happen to be has a thing to do with medical information, shall we?

That you just found out that babies are being abandoned in places where elective homicides are not restricted at all has not a thing to do with medical information and everything to do with you continuing to consume information from the same sources that said Harris was going to win the election even after it was demonstrated that those sources of information are not to be trusted because they push ideology, not facts.

And the same is true for your sources for "medical information" . . . this from the "About" section from the MedPage Today website . . .

...We also publish Perspectives/Opinions...

An important part of our mission is to report on what people in healthcare are thinking, saying, and doing, for the benefit of others who want to know. Does that sometimes reflect one point or another on the political spectrum? Yes.

Does every article we publish need to express viewpoints from every part of the spectrum? No.

Along with the disclaimer, or course, that the site is information based and should not be relied upon for any medical advice, regardless of the information contained in the "reporting" found on the site. Just because you are referencing MedPage Today doesn't mean that what you're referencing is devoid of the opinion of the author HA; and it shows, it truly does show.

That you prefer to get your "medical information" from a site that, by their own admission, gets involved in politics and opinions in their "reporting" is not proof that the site you prefer isn't ideologically polluted. In fact, the first link you provided was originally published by ProPublica before it was picked up by MedPage, and there isn't a reasonable person out there who would contend that ProPublica isn't driven by ideology.
