Colorado: Do Fees Equate To Taxes?

Since the Colorado Supreme Court decided that fees were not taxes, TABOR free fees are now more popular for government to use.
Would be awesome to see the Colorado GOP take this judgement to the US Supreme Court.

Short answer is yes . . . by whatever moniker is chosen, a mandatory submission to a government agency is a tax, regardless of the chosen moniker used. Tax, fee, levy, mill . . . every confiscation of money, earnings, wealth, income, pick your term, is a tax levied on the the individual by their government.
