Why is it okay for Governor Polis to change the name of a Colorado mountain but not okay for President Trump to update the name of a Gulf?
When the Gulf of Mexico was named, most of the Gulf including Mexico and Texas were owned by Mexico. Now in 2025, most of the Gulf is American territory.
