Elon should start his own channel and just show a running list of everything our government has done with our money. With the waste, fraud, and abuse of our money, would also have the author(s) of the bill, or “project”. He could show their faces and explain in detail, how and why they were able to steal our money.

I think it would be a very popular channel and it would ensure a long departure from power for the Dems. What am I missing?

A fact is information without emotion.
An opinion is information shaped by experience.
Ignorance is an opinion without knowledge.
Stupidity is an opinion that rejects facts.

Liberals are starting to fight back saying the spending is necessary. Like a program to circumcise men in Africa. They say it will reduce the spreading of AIDS. While that might be a noble goal, we are 36 trillion in debt! The largest part of our discretionary spending goes to pay on interest only loans! Seven trillion has to be refinanced soon. Probably at higher rates.

Yesterday rich white people were protesting that the USFS wouldn't have enough money to maintain trails this season. Then go get some exercise and join a trail maintenance group. Stop asking taxpayers to fund your recreation.

Servicing the debt isn't discretionary spending of the federal government. True, the cost is greater than any item in the discretionary budget at this point, but those interest payments aren't discretionary.

This is exactly like Radar getting Henry Blake to sign everything put in front of him. Except this is congressional staff sticking earmarks into those 4000 page omnibus bills.

So happy to see Musk and Trump shining a light on this unnecessary spending.

There are modern leftists who think we should stop repaying the debt and interest. And there will eventually come a time when we won't be able to service this debt.
