Trump/Musk $5,000 Refunds For Americans

Elon and Donny are proposing mailing out $5,000 checks to American taxpayers.


Please Don't!

Let's pay down the debt instead. If we want to decrease inflation, handing out $5000 checks is the last thing we want to do.

Besides it will just attract more people wanting to defraud America. Like PPP and other Covid-19 relief programs did.

I agree. It's a nice thought, especially considering that it's our money, but if you make a big dump into the economy, people will spend it and inflation will increase. I can see Dems pushing for that refund to cause even more inflation.

Paying down the debt will lower interest rates helping out hundreds of millions of Americans. And easing inflation will also help out American consumers.

I totally agree that it is a bad idea. If they feel the need to keep on sending money to people send it to pay the bills we are paying interest on.

You talk like you’ve been asleep for the last 4 years. What was the Biden/Harris plan to get our country into a better place? Was it promising to get rid of all strident loan debt? Was it allowing 20 million unvetted illegals to walk across our borders?

What exactly did Biden/Harris do that could possibly help us get out of this debt spiral?
