Hope Polis vetoes it.

He won't . . . they added an amendment, to mollify Polis, that lets you buy one of the firearms after you make an application to your local sheriff, take a hunter safety course, take another 4 hour safety course, and pass an exam with a 90% or better score. Polis will sign the bill and then Colorado will be on the hook for a couple million dollars worth of trying to defend the law in the courts before it is declared to be in violation of the 2nd Amendment.

What is patently obvious at this point, between this bill and the one that will toss you in jail and fine you if you misgender someone on their death certificate, is that the Democrats here in Colorado didn't learn a single thing in the wake of the last election.

CSSA, FPC, and NRA-ILA just got donations from me. The 2nd Amendment is being overwritten by a Super Majority of politicians who hate the Constitution.

Will Free Speech also be limited?

But it's an antique weapon, so its not subject to regulation . . . lol

You can actually own a cannon, an actual cannon, if you want one. Sure, it has to be muzzle loaded, and you can't use an exploding cannon ball in it, but you can still buy an actual "weapon of war" without any kind of a background check at all . . . kinda crazy, right? And you can still purchase a fully automatic firearm, as long as it was made before 1986, including a 40 mm Bofors 4 barrel anti-aircraft cannon or a M134 minigun (6,000 rounds a minute) with a NFA check and a $200 tax stamp. Yeah, you're not going to find one being sold for a bag of weed or some pills on your local street corner, but if you have the money ($400K), and it was made before 1986, the Colorado legislature isn't going to be passing a law to make it illegal for you to buy or sell anytime soon.
