You say this out of one side of your mouth while from the other side you scream about Trump FINALLY trying to do something about it.
Who on your side has ever run on reducing our debt and then actually did what he promised? That person doesn’t exist.

I BELIEVE CLINTON BALANCED THE BUDGET...COULD BE WRONG.
JMO TRUMP IS SHREDDING THE CONSTITUTION AND DOESN;'T GIVE A DAMN IF WHAT HE IS PLANNING IS LEGAL OR ILLEGAL....HE IS PUSHING THE LIMITS TO SEE WHAT HE CAN GET AWAY WITH AND WE R LETTING HIM DESTROY THE NATION.....BECAUSE NO ONE HAS BALLS TO SAY...NO U WILL NOT IMPLEMENT THIS....IT IS AGAINST THE CONSTITUTION AND U R NOT A CZAR.

If you think $36 Trillion (and growing) of federal debt can be paid off in a mere 150 years, well, let's just say I don't share that optimism absent a bout of hyperinflation on our currency. And yes, I meant currency, we don't have money in these United States anymore, which is why inflation keeps feasting on our economy.
Clinton only endorsed balancing the budget because he lost in the Midterms and Newt Gingrich became the first Republican Speaker of the House in decades.

Clinton’s “balanced budget” was filled with the same types of accounting sleight of hand you’re biased media is accusing Trump and the Republicans of using. Take a look at the growth of the federal debt during the Clinton years . . . it grew every year. If the budget had truly been “balanced”, the federal debt would not have increased that year. Since we can look and see that the federal debt did, in fact, increase each and every year, we can conclude that the federal government spent more than it received in revenue ever year during Clinton’s two terms in office. The “balanced budget” was an accounting exercise . . .
