Luckily I think this SCOTUS doesn't want that power and they will continue to let the executive branch execute and let the legislative branch write the new laws.

Like Dobbs, the decisions will be rooted in the law, not in the political ideology of the justices on the bench. That's the beauty of having a court populated by originalists who examine the law, not the social environment, when considering the facts of the case before them.
I can promise you this, you can bet that the Roberts court will stick to their constitutional duty a lot better than the Warren or Burger courts did.
