Greaseball Gavin - 2028 (or not)

I have to watch these Gavin Newsome podcasts now, damn. But they are actually very entertaining in a weird way. He's starting out interviewing hardcore conservatives and I still can't figure out his angle here. These two people are analyzing Democrats... the second one is Newsome talking with Steve Bannon. Just watch the short clip that starts at around 8.40. He's playing it way too nice and way too cool if he's trying to get Democrat voters to rally to him. Bannon also mentioned two times in that interview that Trump won the 2020 election, and Newsome never pushed back... never said a word. Either Gavin is just really dumb and didn't pick up on that, or he thinks letting that slide will make him more acceptable to Republican voters. Either way, I think he should save his breath and hang it up, since it seems he's already hung himself. Oh yeah, he topped his performance off with some interesting hand gestures... watch a second time with the audio off... it's friggin hilarious!

I do hope he keeps this up... lets see if he has the balls to call in Trump.

One more thing before I forget. I think what Newsome and a lot of other Democrats are going to attempt, is to do what Trump did, which was to expand his support base with people who historically voted for Democrats, or didn't vote at all.

The problem for this greaseball is that all he can offer voters is words. He and his fellow Democrats don't have common sense ideas that the average voter can relate to and understand. Dems focused so much on diversity, equity, and inclusion... none of which did a thing for the Average struggling American.

Trump captured new voters because he gave people a list of things he planned to do, and now he's doing what he said he would do. What did Kamala say she was going to do, to earn our votes? Oh yeah, she said Trump was a threat to democracy, every chance she got.

Gavin has a record of failure, so the promises he makes will be believed by few.

He is definitely pivoting to the center.

Guess he figures his main opponent in the primary is AOC.
