One of the bills will require Colorado residents to get a permit and training before buying an assault rifle. But because this is government, they won't be ready with the permits and training until next year.

This will create a run on assault rifles in Colorado. Buy before the new rules go into effect.

One of the bills adds a 6.5% tax on ammunition and gun sales. This is supposed to pay for the medical treatment of firearm crime victims
But will it instead create more money for TABOR to refund next year?

What's an "assault rifle"? I have a drawer full of assault knives... depending on how I choose to use them.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Assault rifle? Anything that is gas powered with a detachable magazine according to Colorado Democrats.

So my 15 shot lever action Winchester is good to go! Or my Mauser bolt action with a 25 round trench magazine.
