One of my regulars who I’ve become friends with is a 300 lb (I’m guessing) white lesbian. She wears her politics on her t-shirts… mostly rainbow stuff, the usual. That said, she also has what I think has to be one of the biggest arsenals on the mountain. She showed me a great spot where she does target practice and this woman is wicked accurate.
Anyway, she sat at the bar a couple nights ago with a petition against Polis and his anti-second amendment bullshit. She knows my politics. So said jokingly, “you voted for him, did you not?” She said she did but she said she can’t stand him now. She even talked about Pam Bondi doing something to stop his crap. I was completely shocked. She also thinks children should be able to choose their gender, so she’s obviously a hard lefty, but also the most pro-gun person I think I’ve ever met. Just thought it was interesting and gave me a little hope that not every lefty is 100% nuts.

Neither one of those is a Democrat policy. Democrats don’t believe in limiting a woman’s choice to kill her baby. Democrats would love to have the majority of Americans dependent on taxpayer money… that’s the only way they’ll win again.
Face it Fred, you’re either 100% Republican, or you have no principles if you align with Democrats, even a little bit. That’s like saying you can identify a little bit with a serial killer. As I’ve said many times.., in 2025, moderates are useless to either party because you can’t compromise with insane people without that rubbing off on you.

I see the difference between right and left ideology as black and white. Name a current liberal policy/idea that the average conservative could find common ground with.
