I've heard numerous digital security experts proclaim that it is not so much a question of if your private information has been retrieved in a data breach, its how many data breaches your private information was contained in. At this point all of our "private" information is available somewhere on the "dark web". The guardians of the data have to be successful every time, the hacker only needs to be successful once.
