When Has Trump Been Wrong?

Was Trump wrong for closing the border tighter than it's ever been?
Did Trump do a bad thing when he rounded up illegal alien criminals and removed them from our soil?
Was he wrong for incentivizing self deportation? (over 1 million so far)
Was Trump wrong for wanting to balance the trade scales?
Was he wrong for pushing NATO countries to pay 5% of their GDP in order to help defend themselves and to stop relying on us to bail them out?
And finally, was he wrong for working so hard to unite the Middle East with the Abraham Accords and now taking the biggest sponsor of terrorism and a near nuclear threat off the table?

Trump has accomplished more in 6 months, than Obama and Biden did in 12 years. 4 1/2 years to go...

You forget President Obama deported a lot of illegal immigrants. The Democrats like to forget that era. He knew they competed for jobs and emptied out state coffers providing Healthcare and education for them.

This thread is about what Trump got wrong, it's not about the one thing Obama got right.

He needed to be more selective on tariffs. Start with China. Don't have the whole world hating us at once.

I disagree. Trump has a very small window to get his goals accomplished. How many times have you heard the "experts" predicting gloom and doom when it comes to Trump's tactics? How many times have the "experts" been wrong? Like him or not, Trump is the best negotiator this country has ever seen imo, and until I see big failures, I'd put my money on Trump and not the "experts" who have never been part of any kind of negotiations, especially with trade.

Which is more important? Consumers and manufacturing or revenge?

If you doubt his deal making, tell me who else would have been able and willing to apply enough pressure for NATA to go from 2% to 5%?

As for China, there is no textbook way to deal with them. Trump makes deals that work for him and he knows how to move the chess pieces. Why take on the big dog first when you can pressure the weak dogs to comply first. If you go against the big dog first and get embarrassed in front of the weak dogs, well, you've just lost. We'll never know how that strategy would have worked out, but look at his record on everything else in just 6 months. The bottom line is that whatever Trump gets out of these trade deals, it will be more than anyone else would have gotten, if anyone else even tried.
