There are so many abandoned inner city and rural homes. If you fix one up and live in them for ten years as a minimum, you get them them tax free, and if an illegal alien, you get citizenship.

You can sell them after twenty years. Families could take over whole blocks, teach their children valuable trade skills and revitalize many areas.

Modern homesteading? And would give young people an inexpensive alternative to current home prices.

Might even run them like a barn raising. Get Families together to provide a basic home and the owners could flesh them out later.
