Staunton Park Ranger Hoax

This month a volunteer ranger at the park claimed to have been stabbed but his assailant escaped. Thousands of local people were warned after the alleged attack.

After further interrogation of the "victim" who story had inconsistencies, it was determined they lied and were charged with filing a false report.
