And there's another instance where a statement containing the word "Always" is false . . . hyperbole is usually the result of an emotionally driven response as opposed to one which has been thought out.

Irrational emotional response is generally behind most mass shootings as well. Oh, they may well be meticulously planned, but the motive behind them is largely emotional rather than rational.

That outlook might be accurate for one who views the members of the military as nothing more than drones themselves, but the reality is far different than that view. Wouldn't be more than a couple of hours after a general civil war erupted all across the Union before both sides had bombers, fighters, helicopters, tanks and all the rest because our service members aren't drones and they take their oath to the Constitution seriously, and I'm sure that each side would have members who viewed serving that side as serving their oath to the Constitution given that's the general view of our society as well.

Who better to know the ins and outs of Buckley Field than the citizen soldiers who serve there? Think they don't know where the goodies are kept HA? Think they know the base security plans and how to defeat them? Might the same be said for every other National Guard base in every State in this Union? Think every soldier at Fort Knox, or Paris Island is going to follow an order to fire on fellow citizens do you?

And yes, I agree with you on the point that a person armed with an AR-15 is outgunned compared to one who is armed with an M4 carbine . . . which is why I laugh at all the collectivists who call semi-automatic arms available to civilians as "weapons of war".
