American citizens outgun all government employees by magnitudes… police and military. A government can not control a population that has as many guns as we do. Yes, they could bomb areas and bring in heavy weapons to mow people down, but you’d need Americans that would be willing to do that. That’s why it’s so important to Democrats to bring in as many foreigners as possible who have no love or allegiance for this country.

A tyrannical government could take out millions of people, but it can’t take out enough people to hold power as long as they are outgunned. Just look how freaked out the Democrats were on Jan 6th when a few thousand UNARMED Americans got pissed off… imagine millions of armed citizens marching, hiding, sniping…

There’s are reason why the Australian government took all the guns and now want to take machetes… they are afraid of an armed population of angry citizens who want their freedom back.

They are one and the same HA. The People are the militia. That is why the right to keep and bear arms is a constitutionally protected individual right and not a collective right accessed only upon being on the rolls of an organized militia.

That outlook might be accurate for one who views the members of the military as nothing more than drones themselves, but the reality is far different than that view. Wouldn't be more than a couple of hours after a general civil war erupted all across the Union before both sides had bombers, fighters, helicopters, tanks and all the rest because our service members aren't drones and they take their oath to the Constitution seriously, and I'm sure that each side would have members who viewed serving that side as serving their oath to the Constitution given that's the general view of our society as well.

THIS IS THE REASON I POSTED MY CRYPTIC COMMENT....I WAS REFERRING TO THE GENERAL POPULACE AND YOUR STATEMENT ABOVE IS NOT THE GENERAL POPULACE.

I'm general population HA . . . and because it is my sacred duty to be ready and able to defend myself, my neighbors, my State, and my Union I'm "well regulated" in the use of firearms. Have been for going on 50 years now. One of the obligations of citizenship as far as I'm concerned.

Want to stop mass shootings? Instill that basic concept instead of gender ideology, "equity", and all the other nonsense that leads to division instead of unity. You and I don't have to share the same political philosophy to share the same values of kindness, teamwork, respect, charity, honor, duty, empathy and all of the rest of what makes a civil society possible.

That's really what we mean when we say there is more that unites us than divides us after all, isn't it? Mass shooters lack those values because if they had them they wouldn't murder innocents. But I can bet you your last fiat dime that the coward that killed those kids was well versed in victimhood because of his feelings about himself.

Precisely so. If you are going to establish a "gun free zone" then you have to commit armed resources to protect those within the "gun free zone". Courthouses and government buildings have armed guards securing the premises . . . if you are going to leave children and teachers defenseless against an armed attack then you must provide them with armed guards to secure the zone.
