Jimmy Kimmel Brought Back By ABC

31 Sinclair stations will not be running the show, choosing to run more news instead. So Jimmy's ratings will be even lower.

The show was already bleeding money, just like Colbert. They lose if they fire him and they lose if they bring him back. He was/is a very bad investment.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Nexstar is preempting the show as well . . . that's over 60 major markets that won't be carrying the programming. I guess if one just can't get by without a daily dose of Kimmel's nonsense, there's always streaming on Disney+ . . .

I am very cynical at my age. Did maybe Kimmel and ABC execs dream up this whole ploy?
Now Jimmy gets to finish his final year bringing in as guests the most liberal celebrities and politicians he can find? Just in time for the midterms?

Record high ratings to end his show.

His ratings will still stink up the joint after a brief bounce, but I'm guessing his leash is pretty short right about now with Disney and he'll have to cease blatantly lying to the useful idiots who tune into the program. Who knows, he might even start inviting a few folks with a different viewpoint onto the show as a means of showing that he's open to talking about an issue instead of simply parroting the collectivist propaganda.

I don’t disagree that the ratings will tank back to where they were, but I seriously doubt he will change his shtick and stop lying/propagandizing to his audience. These are the same people who watch MSNBC and CNN when they want “news” that makes them feel good. Disney will wait until his contract is over before giving him the final boot. By then the demon mob will have moved on from the lie that Trump was behind the firing on the first place.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Sinclair Network is now airing his show too. Taking advantage of record high ratings?

After 3 days his ratings dropped 70%. He still isn’t funny.

Well, sortakinda true. While the rating are down significantly from his "return to broadcasting" ratings, the nightly viewership is up, significantly, from what it was. I think right now he's getting 2.3 million or so compared to the 1.6 million he had prior to his suspension.

But the viewership in the most sought after demographic is still pathetic, something around 350K, or about 15% of his audience.
