Losses all around the nation, including Colorado.
Taxes increased for school lunches and Democrats also winning school boards in the metro area.

The flavored tobacco ban passed too.

President Trump is already declaring that these losses aren't his fault, but you have to think many of the independents who supported him last November stayed home this time, or voted against Trump's Tariffs.

Big shot across the bow.

Do you think this was a blip? Or will the GOP lose the House and Senate in 2026?

Color me unimpressed that in reliably blue states that the Democrats won elections. What is of note is that just a few short years ago the margin of victory would have been significantly higher than they are in the present time.

And please, don't tell me that Chris Christie was a conservative Republican when he was elected, because you know that's not a true statement. New Jersey has been reliably blue for a decade or more. The last Republican governor in Virginia was over a decade ago and Democrats have has a State trifecta since 2020 there. New York? Please . . .

A Republican victory in any of those races would have been an upset, Democrats sweeping the elections was the expected result, not some anomaly with national implications.

Plus the Colorado Republican Party is legally dead. Didn't see any commercials or mailers asking me to vote from them.

Colorado Republicans just threw their ballots away.
