Your Perception Of The Economy?

Are you doing fine? Or feeling stretched and seeking relief?

Personally I am griping about market returns and declining money market rates but I am not hurting economically.

Our second year of business is up 27% overall from last year. It seems like about have the community up here is at retirement age so we’ve been surprised by the increase in traffic, but maybe I just have the best smash burgers in northern Colorado:)

While I am pessimistic, the Fed seems to think the economy will grow faster than inflation. Hope they are right.

Remember all those dire economic predictions when Trump entered office? Economy keeps humming along, unemployment rate is in the low 4's.

The media just peddles click bait anymore. The more dire the predictions the more likely you will click on the story and read their ads.

Same issue with the Climate Emergency. Al Gore has been promising the end of humanity on Earth for decades, and it never happened. We have 8 billion people now, lowest level of subsistence poverty ever, smallest number of famine victims. More wealth than ever.

I’ve noticed HA hasn’t made any dire economic predictions lately. The sources she trusts may be getting tired of being wrong on a daily basis.
