“These are really the two slowest growth years since the pandemic recession,” Lewandowski said. “And if you look back over 20 to 25 years, it’s really unusual to have this slow of growth without entering a recession or without just exiting one.”
CHECK OUT THE GRAPH....WHAT STANDS OUT? CERTAINLY NOT A NORMAL NUMBER.
Amazing what the effect of a high-tax, high-regulation, anti-fuel State government is on the overall State economy, isn't it. People used to come to Colorado to enjoy lower taxes, less government intrusion into their lives . . . those days sure did disappear once Democrats got a stranglehold on the State government, didn't they.
I'm looking to source a coal furnace for my home if the craziness about using natural gas continues . . . I'll gladly install one to heat the house. I could source the coal here or from Wyoming . . .
The ban on propane and natural gas will hurt the rural working poor the most. They cannot afford to upgrade to electric heat.
And those on fixed incomes will also be put out. It is almost like Democrats want all Americans to be dependent on government to live, either the Obamacare subsidies or relying on the government to give you tax credits to convert to inefficient electric heat.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
Oh, and it gets worse . . . Effective January 1, 2026, Colorado will have the most restrictive NOx emission standards in the Union. Say goodbye to your 80% efficient furnace, after January 1st you're going to have to purchase one that's 95%+ to meet the NOx standard.
And with that will come additional costs to upgrade your air supply and vent stacks, in addition to the higher cost of the furnace itself that is. Maybe we'll get lucky and Trump will remove the ability for a State to enact and enforce a stricter standard than the federal one . . .
If I need a new furnace, I’ll buy it in Wyoming and install it myself. Fortunately I rarely use my furnace since I have an endless supply of firewood. I burn about 7 cords a winter and only use the furnace fan to get heat to the lower level when we have guests.
