DIDN'T KNOW WE HAD GEO THERMAL WHEN WE BOUGHT....NEVER HAD IT BEFORE. I JUST KNEW TO STAY AWAY FROM ELECT BASE BOARD HEAT.....MISS OUR WOOD STOVE INSERT
WE PROCESSED OUR OWN WOOD AND IT WAS KINDA OF A MEDITATIVE THING. HAD A PELLET STOVE AND FORCE AIR HEAT ALSO...SO WE COVERED ALL THE BASES...TRANSFER SWITCH FOR THE GENERAC AND WE WERE GOOD TO GO.....I MISS THE MOUNTAINS IMMENSELY.

The thing I loved about our pellet stove, and what is making a coal stove attractive, is that they provide a constant gentle heat. Don't quite know how to describe it, but forced air heat just feels altogether different, at least to me.

It will be interesting to see if particulate pollution rises in Colorado after the Natural Gas taps are turned off. They don't have enough police to capture violent criminals, they definitely don't have the officers to check every chimney.
