One pundit claimed the American blockade of Venezuela was doomed to fail because it is too easy to smuggle out cargos on their long and complicated coastline. I think the US military isn't going to miss any tankers trying to sneak out. They are even tracking small cigarette drug running boats.
Nothing like increasing military obligations and ending Christmas leaves right now. Bad optics? Time with family? Or targeting foreign boats?
