President Trump announced what he called the framework of a deal over Greenland, the Danish island he had threatened to take over. There are not many details, but Trump said it would allow the U.S. to build missile defense bases and mine for minerals. Even as the president has taken an off-ramp, many Europeans and Canadians say the damage has already been done. Nick Schifrin reports.

Do you really think each and every one of our European trading partners is willing to give up on the American consumer market because of President Trump?

Think Germany will willing to give up 20% of their auto sales because Trump is impossible to deal with? Especially if Italy's Meloni sucks up to Trump and he pulls tariffs on Italian products like wine, pasta, and automobiles?

Berlin might want to, but they cannot afford to walk away.

Compare Mexico and Canada. Sheinbaum gave Donald Trump hundreds of imprisoned cartel members and many of Trump's other demands and now has fewer tariffs. Canada? They still stand defiant. Meanwhile Alberta is wanting to secede and possibly join the United States.
Canada hates fossil fuels, and Alberta makes a lot of money that way. Trump and the US still love fossil fuels.

HA, Europe would collapse even faster than what is already happening if they decoupled from the US. They cannot defend themselves and their economies (except for Poland and Hungary) are hot garbage. Just like with Canada, the US holds all the cards.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Other nations are selling their US debt and buying both gold and silver.

How high will precious metals go?

And California residents facing possible wealth taxes are also investing in precious metals. Easier to hide assets that way?

The US could survive without the EU. The EU could not survive without the US. Especially now that the EU has imported dangerous amounts of third world countries and not having spend enough on their own defense. Sitting ducks waiting to be conquered.

The Economy is fine. And will remain fine.
The world is learning Trump makes a tariff threat, sees if the nation submits, and if not, he lowers the tariff.
