President Trump has sued the country's largest bank, JPMorgan Chase, and its chief executive, Jamie Dimon. Trump is demanding at least $5 billion in damages over allegations that the bank unfairly closed his accounts for political reasons.

Maybe time to decentralize banking. Colorado used to have a rule that banned branch banking. Sounds like we need that back.

European leaders and the markets are feeling relieved this Friday morning. EU leaders had a summit last night in Brussels and it looks like the ratification of their trade deal with the U.S. is back on the table when just two days ago they were preparing a package of tariffs on $108 billion worth of U.S. exports because of President Trump's desire to take over Greenland. He seems to have dialed back the rhetoric on that after speaking to NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte. But the mood in the markets is still a bit nervous, isn't it? Because U.S. trade policy has become just so unreliable.
