During the 2024 election, the number of electoral votes in "red" areas had a base of around 230 votes. Were the 2025 census estimates used, that base vote count would now be 244, leaving an easier pathway to victory in the presidential race. As residents flee "Blue" states in search of greater affordability elsewhere, Democrats put their path to power in greater and greater peril. Who knows, by the time the next census is actually done, the base electoral vote count in "Red" areas might be high enough that Republicans will only need to win one additional State to secure victory in the presidential contest.
That’s true if more Democrats are leaving… but what if a greater numbers of Republicans leave, who are leaving for more affordable lives , AND for more distance from bad leftist governments.
