I’m in a restaurant group online. Most of the members are Trump haters, although most don’t seem very politically informed… they just parrot the leftist talking points of the week.
Ever since Trump announced the “no tax on tips and overtime”, the majority of group members have been saying it’s just a lie and will never happen. Well, it’s happening, and I now have the receipts.
Yeah, I’m feeling pretty damn good so far this year.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
To be clear, this is NOT a restaurant owners group, although they are owners like myself. Most are servers, hosts, and cooks. I’m not generally as interested in what owners think as I am the employees. I was a clueless leftist when I got into the business back when n the late 70’s… mostly because I envied the “rich” people I was serving. The sentiment seems pretty similar among servers today who think they deserve a “living wage” (guessing 100k+). My crew is a mixed bag with mostly liberals and uninformed (so also liberal). I keep politics out of my mouth unless it’s just me and a common sense regular by ourselves at the bar.

If the left had any objectivity present inthat party they would have never stood back and allowed Harris to just grab the nomination without a primary. They just couldn’t admit she’s been a failure for most of her political career.

The Dow Jones was at 1700 when I was in college in the 80's. So yes the market will continue to have Peaks and valleys but those who trusted it for decades are way ahead of those who left their assets in cash
Would be ironic if the Oracle of Omaha cashed out right before his death and never got an opportunity to jump back in on the dip.
