I am a voracious consumer of news and read through many sources but my distrust started happening in college. I learned to read stories with a skeptical eye, but now I pretty much have to verify the truth by checking multiple sources.
The clickbait headlines of Climate Change kept being proven wrong.
I wanted to believe during Covid-19, I wanted the truth, how to protect myself and others, instead partisanship was more important to them, and newspapers refused to question the establishment and WHO.

It’s the stories they refuse to cover that give away their complete lack of journalistic standards. Not covering Joe Biden’s physical and mental issues during his term was 100% unacceptable. The same goes for the open border and crime that they refused to cover because they were too busy covering Trump, who wasn’t even in government.
Now take a look at what they are NOT covering.
How many stories have you seen on the left about the EU countries that are being taken over by Muslims and their ideology? How about the massive increases in rape, by Muslims in Europe. No coverage of the massive protests.
How many stories about Trump’s peace deals? The gas prices, falling prices inflation, stock market over 50k, lower crime, lower rents, lower interest rates,,,,
And then there’s the BILLIONS in fraud across the country… silence.
Lying by omission is just as bad as straight up lying, especially when you call yourself a journalist.
Nobody should ever trust a media source or a politician. Very few actually work for the people as they are required to do.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
And this is worldwide. The UK Labour government wants to shred all court verdicts over a few years old. And the BBC refuses to cover the story about government literally destroying past records.
George Orwell's memory holes have arrived.
