In this plan, if you bought Apple stock at $50 a share and it is now $1,000 a share, you will owe $300 in taxes. So you now have to sell the stock to pay your tax. People all over the Netherlands will have to do the same, stock falls to $500 a share. So now you only clear $100.


Want to buy more stocks? Hardly! Take that $100 in cash and hide it so it doesn't get taxed again.

This will crash stock markets.

California will have voters decide if they want to penalize millionaires in the same way. Already the rich are leaving California.

Buffet might have been right to dump stocks.
