I talk politics with friends who are not insane leftists, which is the majority of the people who regularly sit at my bar. When I know someone is a leftist, politics are avoided 100%, but I have still made friends with most of them. One of them is a 300lb lesbian who loves to shoot and has a big arsenal, but she also occasionally wears a t-shirt that says “protect trans kids”. I believe she thinks she is actually a male, but thinks she should have transitioned as a child and now it’s too late.
Yes, she’s a bit of a nut, but I pay her to run my trivia night on Thursdays. I believe that makes me more inclusive and accepting than the vast majority of hate filled liberal/progressives.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
